Existing OpenClover plugin for Grails (https://grails.org/plugins/clover) works only with Grails 2.0-2.5 which hash Gant (“groovy ant”) - based build system. Grails 2.x release line is end of life (last 2.5.6 release published 23 Mar 2017).

New Grails 3.x is based on Gradle. In July 2019 even newer Grails 4.0 has been released.

Stop supporting Grails 2.x by OpenClover.

Added notes on the openclover.org website, suggesting use of Gradle Clover Plugin for Grails 3.x and higher.
