Git is way more popular than Mercurial. Moving to this SCM will lower the entry-barrier for potential contributors (no need to install mercurial, no need to learn it). Tasks:

  • convert repositories to Git
  • choose hosting platform - GitHub
  • update author mappings - (partially done)
  • update README files
  • update pom.xml files (scm sections)
  • update openclover.org website documentation - to do
  • “close” existing Mercurial repositories on Bitbucket (put a note with new location in READMEs)
  • move issue tracker - GitHub
