NAME

editions - publish periodicals from articles composed in AsciiDoc

SYNOPSIS

editions [COMMAND] [OPTION]…​

DESCRIPTION

editions is a toolchain for publishing periodicals that are aggregated from articles stored in GitHub repositories and composed in AsciiDoc.

GLOBAL OPTIONS

-h, --help

Show this message

-P, --profile=<name>

Run using the specified configuration profile (defaults to none)

Also used as the prefix for this periodical’s resources.

-y, --[no-]batch

Assume that the answer to any question which would be asked is 'y' or 'yes'

-v, --version

Display the program version

COMMANDS

config

Prepare your environment for using editions

OPTIONS

-h, --homepage "<url>"

the homepage URL of the periodical (defaults to none)

-o, --org <login>

the GitHub organization for this periodical (defaults to the <username>)

-t, --title "<text>"

the title of the periodical (defaults to none)

-u, --username <login>

the GitHub username (i.e., login) of the periodical’s administrator (defaults to none)

--netrc

read credentials from your netrc file ($HOME/.netrc)

-p, --private

Use private repositories on GitHub

dump

Print a summary of the environment

init

Initialize the article repositories

OPTIONS

-a, --authors <login>[,<login>]*

A comma-separated list of usernames of the contributing authors (defaults to none)

-p, --period <date>

The period of the issue (e.g., 2014-03) (defaults to current month and year)

clone

Clone the article repositories

help

Shows a list of commands or help for one command

Gets help for the application or its commands. Can also list the commands in a way helpful to creating a bash-style completion function

-c

List commands one per line, to assist with shell completion
