Nikos Mavrogiannopoulos:
If one runs "softhsm2-util --init-token --slot xx", there is no way to stop that process from that point on. Pressing CTRL+C or CTRL+D during the password prompts brings:
SO PIN (4-255 characters) ***
Please enter SO PIN: ERROR: The length of the PIN is out of range.
