Android studio 2.3 can't run

Error:Failed to open zip file.
Gradle's dependency cache may be corrupt (this sometimes occurs after a network connection timeout.)
Re-download dependencies and sync project (requires network)

@jsgang I've created a PR https://github.com/edx/edx-app-android/pull/938 for migrating to AS v2.3, which is working just fine.

For now, I'm busy with some other stuff , so, will look more into it to make the Travis tests pass.

You can use the PR's patch file in any of your own branches to make it work.
