Soft and force upgrades don't seem to be working as expected, here are the details incase of:

Soft upgrade

  1. the main dashboard doesn't show any indication that an upgrade is available
  2. in settings, the upgrade option doesn't appear, it just says the app is up-to-date

Force upgrade

  1. in the logged-in experience the app doesn't show any indication for the user to upgrade the app, just says something went wrong
  2. in settings, the upgrade option doesn't appear, it just says the app is up-to-date
  3. upon logout and reopening the app, the user is still logged in into the app
  4. upon providing the correct credentials to log in, the app doesn't show any message that an upgrade is needed, just shows something went wrong
