I've compiled latest app version from source code (3.4.0, commit afd8013) and checked the case on 2 applications, old 3.2.9 and new one.
Old app shows one kcal less in view mode, server API reply shows correct value (for both app requests), new app version shows correct value.
I also logged into my account on 3.4.0 application, but the bug hasn't appeared.

Seems either the issue got fixed during latest commits or it requires rare conditions to appear.
