@JanJereczek - thanks for your submission to JOSS. We're currently managing a large backlog of submissions and the editor most appropriate for your area is already rather busy. For now, we will need to waitlist this paper and process it as the queue reduces. Thanks for your patience! |
Hi @arfon, no big deal! |
@editorialbot generate pdf |
@editorialbot invite @martinfleis as editor 👋 @martinfleis – I recognize this is 'left field' for you, but any chance you'd be willing to take this on? |
Invitation to edit this submission sent! |
@arfon I know very little about the topic and near nothing about Julia. No one closer to this is available at the moment? |
@arfon, @martinfleis if you agree i'll take it. |
@lrnv very happy to leave this one to you. |
@editorialbot assign me as editor |
Assigned! @lrnv is now the editor |
@JanJereczek Hello! I'll be your editor for this paper, nice to meet you ! Would you be able to recommend a few potential reviewers? You may e.g. take a look at Joss's reviewer list there, or propose anyone else that would be fitted (e.g. at least who know julia and/or time series). |
Hi @lrnv, Nice to meet you too! Based on the list of reviewers, I would recommend @sgeorge91 and @felixcremer. Cheers |
👋 @sgeorge91 and @felixcremer, would any of you be willing to review this submission for JOSS? We carry out our checklist-driven reviews here in GitHub issues and follow these guidelines: https://joss.readthedocs.io/en/latest/review_criteria.html |
I'd be willing to review this, but I am not sure, how much time I am able to put into it in March. |
@felixcremer The expected time line is about 6 to 8 weeks but can be extended on demand. We aim at publication after 3 to 4 months. Anyway, if you need more time in the middle, you can always ask nicely and usually the editor (that is, me) will give you more time ;) |
This time line should be manageable for me, so you can assign me as a reviewer. |
Hi @lrnv . Happy to assist with this. You can assign me as a reviewer as well. |
@editorialbot add @felixcremer as reviewer |
