Project Onboarding Checklist - AMP

Intended Stage: Growth

• Adopt the OpenJS Foundation Code of Conduct (tracked in Adopt the OpenJS Foundation Code of Conduct ampproject/wg-codeofconduct#6)
• Update project CoC reporting methods to include OpenJS Foundation escalation path (tracked in Adopt the OpenJS Foundation Code of Conduct ampproject/wg-codeofconduct#6)
• List official domains, indicating which one(s) the project commits to transfer to the OpenJS Foundation following graduation (tracked in List all AMP domain names and advise which ones will be transferred to the OpenJSF ampproject/wg-foundation-onboarding#3)
• Identify and document other core project infrastructure (tracked in https://github.com/ampproject/wg-infra/issues/18 and Document the core infrastructure of the project ampproject/wg-infra#19)
• If choosing to use a Contributor License Agreement (CLA) or Developer Certificate of Origin (DCO), make selection and implement appropriate tool (tracked in Choose to use a CLA, a DCO, or neither ampproject/meta-tsc#25)
• Add or Update Governance.md document (required for Impact stage) (tracked in Update Governance.md document ampproject/meta#46)
• Confirm required files in place (CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md, LICENSE.md) (tracked in Confirm required files in place (CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md, LICENSE.md) ampproject/wg-foundation-onboarding#7 and Adopt the OpenJS Foundation Code of Conduct ampproject/wg-codeofconduct#6)
• Project Charter is published on website or github (tracked in Create project charter ampproject/meta#45)
• Update legal copyright notice on project website and github (tracked in Update legal copyright notice on project website and github ampproject/wg-foundation-onboarding#12)
• Add OpenJS Foundation logo to project website (tracked in Add OpenJS Foundation logo and footer to project website ampproject/wg-outreach#60)
• Add Project logo to OpenJS Foundation website; update PROJECTS.md file
• List relevant trademarks, indicating which one(s) the project commits to transfer to the OpenJS Foundation following graduation (tracked in List and agree to post-graduation transfer of trademarks to the OpenJS Foundation ampproject/wg-foundation-onboarding#17)
• If project is using crowdfunding platforms, add disclaimer to platforms (tracked in Confirm disclaimer is only necessary if OpenCollective is used to receive funds ampproject/wg-foundation-onboarding#10)
• Identify individuals from the project to join the CPC (tracked in Identify individuals from the project to join the CPC ampproject/wg-foundation-onboarding#11)
• Document project and foundation contacts for:
  • marketing & social media
  • infrastructure
  • legal/governance help
