All clicks on <select> elements aren't being recorded, is this a known bug?

Fixed in tracker v3.5.0.

Is server v1.5.0 a requirement for this fix to work?

Nope, you just need to update your tracker to v3.5.0.

BTW, just to clarify what we did on this ticket: We're now capturing the event on such element and displaying it in the events list. It's still not displayed in the replay since the is managed by the browser, though we could emulate it in the future. Fell free to reopen this ticket if that's not what you were expecting.

Thanks. Now I see it! This is a pretty reasonable way of decoupling the problem.

Long term, it would be good to have the dropdown displayed in the replay as users might "hover" on items they are thinking about clicking before changing their minds & clicking the submitted option. (I am working on a pretty complex survey, so this type of behaviour isn't a crazy as it sounds).

I will leave it to you to decide priorities & where this should go in your roadmap - I can live with the current implementation for now.
