*Activity* Online consultations

Define a codelist that flags online consultation instances, in the context of an evaluation of online consultations in primary care.

Coding of online consultations is likely not a) widespread and exhaustive and b) standardised (incl because of different pathways and dispositions). We have for now focussed on a couple central codes to understand their prevalence:

• eConsultation via online application (procedure) [source: e-Consult documentation]
• Consultation via multimedia (procedure) [source: NHSE/I Total Triage blueprint]

For further discussion and discovery, in the Codelist Builder the following keywords were searched:

Used codelist builder to create a CTV3 version and a SNOMED version.

For CTV3 (started with a direct upload of a csv list) these codes could not be found by Codelist builder so had to be removed to allow the upload to be successful:

• XUkjp - "Telemedicine consultation with patient (procedure)" -> this code was found as the refset equivalent to the SNOMED code, on SnomedCTbrowser
• XVCTw - "Telemedicine consultation with provider (procedure)" --> this code was found as the refset equivalent to the SNOMED code, on SnomedCTbrowser
• XUuWQ - "Remote non-verbal consultation (procedure)" --> this code was found as the refset equivalent to the SNOMED code, on SnomedCTbrowser
• XV1pT - "Telepractice consultation (procedure)" --> this code was found as the refset equivalent to the SNOMED code, on SnomedCTbrowser
• .9N34 - "Encounter by computer link" --> this code was found on the Kahootz CT3 to SNOMED lookup.
