URL template support for Map tooltips

Using OpenSearch 2.13 and OpenSearch Dashboard doesn't look like it supports the URL format templates you can create at the index patterns tab for the map tooltips. It does show the clickable links at the Discover tab, but I'd like to use it at a map type visualisation, in the tooltip section.

Tooltips in the map visualisation honor the Url format just like Discover does, so I can have a clickable link in my tooltip section of my map visualisation

Describe alternatives you've considered

Temporarily not using this option, or mabey switch to Elastic (but that has no free support for LDAP/SAML authentication).

Additional context
I'm using a dashboard with a map (and some other graphs, but those are not part of the issue here) to visualize the geodata of all the open tickets (applied university project), so we can see hotspots and details about problems with the service. It might be somehow my OpenSearch VM does something wrong, but as I do not see any other examples already on the internet on this (searched a few minutes), so probably this feature doesn't exist or is not currently working correctly. So feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
