MediaWiki Internal error with RecentChanges #923
Comments
What exactly do you expect us to do about it though? It sounds like it's a bug in mediawiki? |
I don't know, look at the server logs? We from a Wiki (or even Wiki admin) perspective can't do anything. |
The word As such there is little we can do beyond logging an error upstream which will be extremely painful and probably of limited benefit. |
I'm assuming you're talking about this one here: I'm wondering why are you even pressing the "Show" button in the first place? That's only useful, in case you want to filter on one or multiple user names. You can add a filter for namespaces: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Special:RecentChanges?hidebots=1&hidecategorization=1&hideWikibase=1&namespace=1&limit=50&days=7&enhanced=1&urlversion=2 and that brings up a list of all Talk-related changes for all users. There's really no need for the "Show" button. |
The “Users” text field is provided by the CleanChanges extension. (It’ll also provide a page language filter once the Translate extension is installed: #649.) |
How to reproduce the issue:
When I remove "&users=" from the URL, it will work
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?namespace=1&tagfilter=&title=Special%3ARecentChanges
But the URL generated by MediaWiki doesn't work.
I think it's because the "users" parameter can't be empty. I can type any username and it works, but what if I want to browse changes from all users?
