[Submitted to the original trac issue database at 9.41pm, Wednesday, 17th May 2006]

Adding a property value which includes accented e (), like the danish street type all, results in JOSM refusing to upload the changes with a "Error while parsing: An error occurred:: 500 Internal Server Error".

This is using latest snapshot:

Seen on both Windows 98 and Windows Server 2003 using java version "1.5.0_06", Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_06-b05), Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_06-b05, mixed mode).
