searching for TNF does not give TNF

Sanofi user trying to find genetics information from OT genetics portal around TNF. It seems that “TNF” is not showing us as an option from https://genetics.opentargets.org/.

Behaviour has been replicated in production and QA.

Note that searching for the ENS gene ID of TNF (i.e. ENSG00000232810) does return TNF.

There are plenty of associations for this gene via several SNPs from GWAS:

including rs1799964 where nearest gene is TNF on Genetics: https://genetics.opentargets.org/variant/6_31542308_T_C

Yes, we only show the first ten results of each type (gene, variant, study). The query tnf should probably return TNF above TNF.+, @mkarmona?
