The first step in creating a replacement for OLSR-viz is doing research into what it should look like and what tools it should use. Steps are:

  • Do UI research and create mockups for what the visualizer should look like, with an eye to simplicity, mobile compatibility, and visual consistency.
  • Evaluate existing tools that could be used or extended to implement the visualizer, with an eye to small size and cross-platform support.

@jheretic Status page notes sent on list this week cover the first tab content referenced here.
We'll extend that work with a UI spec on the major tabs on the status page: Nearby Mesh Devices, Mesh Visualizer, Connected Clients, Debug Report, and Advanced Network (new tab, name TBD) more to come...
