commotiond crashing

After leaving nodes up for a while, commotiond appears to have stopped running.

Was also able to cause commotiond to stop running when turning off IBSS-RSN on a node.

These crashes occurred on nodes with SSP enabled, which will intentionally crash a program when it detects a buffer overflow. It's possible that we've had a commotiond issue since the R1 release that is being caught by the new compile flag.

There were some crashes due to the serval plugin. I'm going to close this out pending more specific issues after the pending serval plugin and library upgrade.
