Will there be a native version of Opentoonz for Apple Silicon Macs?

If anyone is working on a native Apple Silicon version of Opentoonz for the Mac they have not announced that as of today.
That would certainly be an interesting project for a Mac developer to take on.

Perhaps short of that others can enumerate the obstacles in the way of creating such a version.

I'm not a coder but from what I understand if it's packaged as a universal binary it should work, instead of just for Intel.

QT6 includes Apple silicon support, for what that's worth.

That would seem to be the trajectory for fulfillment of this request.
It'll take some time to get there but at least that gives us a target to try to hit.
That'd make a good v2.0 goal; to have full working and optimized native support for apple silicon.
It if can arrive sooner even better. :)
