Brush strokes leave artifacts that can't be undone unless erased #5446

Description

When using either the brush tool or paint brush tool, sometimes after a line is undone with CTR Z, it will leave behind an artifact, usually a dot (though once it left half a line). This dot cannot be undone with CTR Z, and therefore seems to exist outside of memory.
However it can be erased with the eraser tool.
This can range from annoying to very destructive if it leaves a dot in a particularly tough spot.
(For reference I am using a Huion KAMVAS Pro 24 (4k). I saw another post that was similar but it was closed because the person switched to another tablet and it didn't happen anymore. I am not willing to do that given the price or quality of my tablet)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Draw some lines with either the brush tool or paintbrush tool. (Usually shorter, quick lines lead to this quicker.)
  2. Undo them and see if there is any artifacting left over (dots, parts of the line still there.)

Expected Behavior

I expected the undo action to remove the line in its entirety and not leave behind any artifacts.

This sounds like an old problem that has been fixed.
Make sure to test with a recent nightly release as that will comfirm if that particular bug is still a problem.
