Interested in GSOC2024 Project: Synthetic Anomaly Generation

Hi! My name is Joanna, and I am currently a sophomore student majoring in Computer Science. I want to participate in GSOC, and I am interested in the Synthetic Anomaly Generation for Threshold Selection and Model Evaluation project. I would appreciate some guidance on where to start with this project. Also, could someone give me some suggestions on which feature on task under "Issues" to start with, please?

Hi, it's great to see interest in GSoC at Anomalib ☺️. The mentors will be able to tell you more about project specifics. Meanwhile, many tasks can be tackled. Check good first issues and possibly other issues/feature requests.

@adrianboguszewski could you maybe just clarify if the issue prerequisite can be on any repository inside Openvinotoolkit, or only the selected from Good first issues. In any case, it's a good idea to check out Anomalib issues to familiarize yourself with the codebase 😄.
