I have 4 HDDs in IBM M1015 card, I migrate from FREENAS to UBUNTU, so i mange to have the pool import at boot but won't be able to mount at boot. I have tried to set /etc/default/zfs ZFS_MOUNT='y' but still not working.

Is there anyway to let my pool mount at boot?

My pool imports sucessfully right at boot it just not automount. Regarding to the HBA JBOD, I have flashed to IT firmware so I belived it has only JBOD, so I'm not sure it has raid-0 or raid-1 option.
I put a sleep command in /etc/init/mountall.conf, but after reboot, it hangs.

Paste the pertinent logs into this ticket.

If the sleep statement hangs the system, then there is probably a kernel trace on the system console. You may need to disable Plymouth to see it. Take a cellphone photo of the crash message if the system is panicked.

Remember to revert all system customizations like the /etc/default/zfs changes.

I have reinstall ubuntu and have 2 pools, 1 attach to HBA, 1 to onboard SATA ports. What logs should I post in here to debug the problem

I seem to be experiencing the same issue.

I have an IBM M1015 card flashed to IT firmware that hosts 8 of 10 WD Red 3TB disks in a Raidz2 pool configuration. The other 2 disks are on the main board.

Ubuntu 12.04.1 fresh LAMP install with just a few minor extra command line tools.
ZFS from the daily PPA.

After booting and logging in mount shows no ZFS filesystems.
They are there and ok, but just not automounted.
A manual 'zfs mount -a' mounts the filesystems correctly.

I have followed the troubleshooting guide to no avail
(https://github.com/dajhorn/pkg-zfs/wiki/Ubuntu-ZFS-mountall-FAQ-and-troubleshooting).
Inserting the 'sleep 60' line in the script before the mountall does not solve the issue.

Everything seems to be configured correctly (to me).

Can we reopen this, and hopefully resolve the issue?
Is there a reliable workaround for the time being?
