From kiwix-android created by Inbefortus: kiwix/kiwix-android#2701

It would be appropriate for us tablet users if there was an option to display more content on a large screen. The layout is rather adapted for mobile users and should therefore also be optimized for a tablet.

In Kiwix it looks like this:

Best would be like this (Kiwix JS PWA):

I think the issue here is not about transforming mobile style to an (old) Wikipedia desktop style. The issue could more easily be solved by removing the extraneous large margins left and right for mobile-formatted content. This would be a one-minute CSS tweak, I think, though adding a UI option to enable or disable it would take a little more time.
