Clicks still occur from touchpad

Using a System76 Gazelle Professional (https://system76.com/laptops/gazelle) I can verify the touchpad no longer is enabled when my wireless mouse is plugged in, but I can still click the physical buttons. I think this extension should also disable the right, left and middle click of the physical buttons on the touchpad.

Sorry, but I stop the development of this extension, because I've no longer been using gnome shell.
Perhaps someone other could help you or you could fix the issue by yourself.
