It is possible to add hatches to a 2D visualization?

I'm trying to change a 2D gempy plot into a more classic soil profile visualization, adding hatches. I thought that would be easy changing the contours, but it seems that most part of the colors are not really contours but something else.

Change the color is easy, but I didn't found a way to add hatches properly.
