Can't figure out how to use badger with the all-in-one binary

Do I need to be doing something to "enable" these badger settings in the binary? Is there a specific binary build specifically for badger?

--badger.consistency=false seems to work (which is also probably the default)

The main issue I have is that it's not sourcing environment variables
