I have a user table with a password field and I am altering the passed values with the value statement in the define statement like:
"DEFINE FIELD password ON user VALUE crypto::sha256($value)"
At what times is the function for altering the value called? Because somehow the value is hashed twice and now the hash of the hash is stored. I thought the function is only called when changing the value of that field.
