Unable to run golang serverless function with version 1.21

Summary

I'm getting the following error when trying to run a serverless function:

Downloading go: https://dl.google.com/go/go1.21.1.linux-amd64.tar.gz
go: module . listed in go.work file requires go >= 1.21, but go.work lists go 1.18; to update it:
        go work use

My local system's go version is go version go1.21.6 linux/amd64
