Vercel.json with RedwoodJS - recursing build which loops, and config values not honoured

Steps to Reproduce

The linked page describes vercel.json values not being honoured, and when a vercel.json is present, the build loops continuously, rebuilding the project for each function in the api side. This pushes a 2min build into 20+ minutes easily.

I've setup a test repo here - https://github.com/DrakenKor/vercel-redwood-tester

Deploying this repo to Vercel reproduces the behaviour.

Seems to be an issue on Vercel's side.
