Add overlays to the tracker to show relevant shards/upgrades to the base skills, as small icons in the corner of the relevant skill.

Triple jump would be the most useful, as it has the largest effect on logic and progression.

Possible unique upgrade markers, by skill: (roughly by importance)

Double Jump

  • Triple Jump
  • Extra Double Jump

Grapple

  • Ultra Grapple

Sword

  • Deflector

Shuriken

  • Static Star

Grenade

  • Uncharged Bashgrenades
  • Multigrenade
  • Extra Grenade

Dash

  • Extra Air Dash

Bash

  • Ultra Bash

Hammer

  • Shock Smash

Spear

  • Exploding Spike

Blaze

  • Charge Blaze

Bow

  • Quickshot
  • Splinter
  • Arcing
  • Charge Shot

Other

  • Skill Velocity
  • Jumpgrades

Efficiency/Rapid/Melting markers could be added. Melting would probably be the most useful as it has a notable effect on traversal. Counters could also be added to relevant upgrades.

This folder contains pngs for all the shards/upgrades/bonus upgrades/upgrade modifiers, most of which are already in ori-rando/assets

I know this is a LOT. I do think that if any substantial portion of it is added to the tracker, an option for a more simplified version of the tracker would also be good. This is kinda a spitballed list of possibilities more than anything.
