Incoming connections do not have a domain, only an IP. Do you suggest we run reverse-DNS lookups on every incoming request IP? Even then it's very unlikely to result in a .edu domain for schools. Exemple: 216.50.240.174, a school I'm whitelisting, has no DNS record.
