I switched my Wi fi off for about 60 seconds. But then I did not see any DOM change to reflect the functioning of your online demo script. Is there anything more I need to do?

Thanks. Great project btw.

I'm on Windows 7 and didn't have a problem.

A friend of mine had a similar issue. My guess is that some hardware configurations do not sent the appropriate signal to the software, so the browser doesn't pick it up correctly.

It's actually a curious issue.

I'll try to debug it when I come across a computer that doesn't trigger the signal correctly.

@denmaradi If you were using Firefox, it should work now.

@oskarkrawczyk ! It still does not work. I am not talking about Firefox' "work offline" mode but actual internet disconnection. Whether chrome or firefox, the issue s still at large.

From my testing it works on both.

Obviously there would be a lag before the message is shown - even the OS' doesn't know if the internet goes down exactly in the second it does.
