In Configure map -> Hide it would be good to be able to hide map text (road and town names etc.)
If you're using a profile purely for following predetermined routes, prioritising high-contrast and readability in bright sunlight (for e.g. cycling), it's basically just visual clutter.
At the moment I can scale it down to 33%, but getting rid of it entirely would be preferable.

edit - I've later become aware that this is a profile specific issue, but I still stand by the suggestion that it should apply to all profiles. I realise 'option spam' is a problem for UI (and maintainability sometimes, but presumably not in this case since it's already there for some profiles), but it's an obvious thing to want to get rid of, in my opinion, especially because you might be composing any given layer with another layer with labels on.
