Nice to Have Should be fixed but there is no priority or no possibility to fix it within current horizon planning

馃殌 feature request

Description

A few times I've been looking at an area of the map away from where I am in an auto-centre profile, then gone into the menu to adjust a setting, and been sent back to where I was GPS located in the background. I've then had to go back and find where I was looking.

Describe the solution you'd like

In my opinion if you're in any menu the timer should be paused (or possibly reset to 0 and paused).

edit: Another option would be for scrolling around in menus or pressing things to reset the timer, so if you leave it open on a menu it still recentres, but it won't do it in the background while you're fiddling with settings.

I vote for any user screen interaction simply resetting the timer.

It might be an issue resetting on tiny movements / taps (for those of us with our phones on our bikes and often being rained on). But I realise filtering that adds complexity, and it may not really be an issue anyway.

Makes sense though it could be tricky to implement
