Online recording - Buffer for long trips (7 days)

I use the online recording for my website. A cool thing. But I have 2 points here that could be improved.

1.) The time buffer of max. 24 hours is far too small. Example. I've been traveling for a long time without WiFi, GSM or other reception, i.e. 100% offline. If you could set the buffer to 14 days, the problem would be solved and I would have all the data.
Limited storage space on your smartphone is not a counter-argument. You could extrapolate immediately after entering the settings and show the user the memory requirement. If necessary, check immediately whether the space is still free and warn if necessary. But the amounts of data are rather small.

2.) You can set the recording interval and the time buffer. It would be cool if I could also say, please only send the data block once every 5, 10 minutes or even every 24 hours.
A possibility of manually triggering data transmission would be perfect.
