We may have an issue on this already elsewhere, I just discover the effect again after fixing #6924. We render identical areas contained in several activated maps repeatedly on top of each other, as is visible by transparent features appearing intensified. See below with one and two maps activated which contain the UNESCO heritage area. Can also be observed with e.g. Lake Garda, Italy.

We... it is still possible. I think we do not render objects with same id but if ids are slightly different they will be visible. So it requires quite a deep drilling and I'm not sure if it is worth. Chances that quick fix will be found < 30% I guess.
