Unsure under which conditions a colored dot of a calendar entry is filled or not. All three events are timed events on a single day (not all-day). One event shows up with filled dot while the other two events show unfilled.

macOS 12.5.1
Sol 1.1.61

When an event is "accepted" it shows as filled

Unsure where to find such option in calendar app as I am not using invites or attends in macOS calendar (or at least not knowingly). Wondering if this option is modified while adjusting an event on android. At least on android I see the attending options (yes, maybe, no). However when I edit event on android, tick the yes option, done I see "Event saved" only to find the attending options all unticket when opening same event. This is getting off-topic. I will have to do some research about how this is supposed to work on the different platforms.

Anyhow - thanks for the quick answer.

If you have no invitees them there is no accepted status, a minor improvement would be showing your personal events (without invitees) as filled, but this is minor to me

The thing I don't get is, the event showing the filled dot has no attendees. The only difference I can spot is that, on android, I do not see the option to attend (yes, maybe, no) for that event. But yeah, that is probably an issue between calendar app, android and how all those implementations may ignore calDAV standards or something like that.
event full circle

You need to be invited to an event for it to appear, if it is an event you created yourself you won't have any option to accept it

I can understand that, but I don't understand how then three events created by me would show with different dot states.
EDIT: Able to reproduce this problem. Events created in android etar calendar (coming with LineageOS) all result in a full dot event when shown in Sol.

Here goes nothing: Etar-Group/Etar-Calendar#383 open issue from 2018 for etar calendar.
At least I found another problem with Sol while typing my etar comment: #78

Edit: Simple-Calendar has the same problem: SimpleMobileTools/Simple-Calendar#1819
Issue got already closed - seems no one really cares about that state.
Maybe it is clever to assume users are attending all events they create. The question then is, how to change this for events created on macOS / iOS with calendar app. Really odd and surprising there is no setting to adjust this on neither calendar app macOS / iOS nor the android calendar apps.
