It really feels like we're fighting docker-compose and its limitations with environment variables. Is there a better way to accomplish this?

In hopes of supporting running this on a raspberry pi, maybe zitadel has lower resource requirements than keycloak. https://git.hackerspace.zone/hudson/hackerspace-zone/issues/2#issuecomment-4 looking into it a bit

having also been working on such a project myself, I've stumbled across Authentik which might be even better than Keycloak or Zitadel. https://github.com/goauthentik/authentik I've already set up Keycloak with Active Directory (via Zentyal Linux) as its ID store so I may not dive into it myself just yet, but y'all may want to.
