Is there a way to have a list of gems installed in each ruby that is installed?

There are many angles to attack the problem though:

  • Dynamic inventories with dynamic vars
  • Custom modules
  • etc ...

You should see how you can extend ansible. It will only take you a few lines of python if everything's fine.
