[feature request] Add optional date bar #121
Comments
The current clock widget works if you have the Google App installed. If the Google app is installed, then go to Settings > Home Widget > Show Smartspace. |
I should have added that my device is degoogled and set up mostly opensource / privacy friendly. Does that already come with your app? If not, maybe someone has the knowledge and takes the time to implement it, I'd really appreciate that! |
@otakuhqz maybe we can combine this with the work on the side shelf |
@machiav3lli, may I ask if you're still working on it? |
@GithubUser699 it's already implemented in v0.9.0, you can either already get it from our channel (or group) or wait for stable release, we're almost in the rc-phase. |
It's doesn't support custom date formats and text colors though, does it? |
Description
I would like to have a date bar similar to the one open launcher (com.benny.openlauncher) has.
In Openlauncher this date bar is accessible from every desktop site and tapping on it will open the calendar app.
You can choose the date format and text color via the settings:
Expected Behavior
Such a date bar with the customization options similar to openlauncher would be great.
Actual Behavior
There is no such date bar.
I actually use it a lot, especially the "tab to open calendar" function.
