In its current draft state, the narrative does not yet include its own raison d'être: plausible scenarios, products, and lifestyles that would arise in a world where Durable Computronics reigned supreme.

For example, if we presuppose an alternate Earth history where DC had taken hold in the early 20th century, what products would or would not exist and why? What would a day in the life of an average retail worker, marketing manager, teacher or accountant look like?
