Sorry, where in the UI is "Public Shared Folders" do you mean as a text file stored somewhere, or a specific place in the UI?

It's probably the public link page. When you create a public link pointing to a file or folder, you can open it and it's a separate page, without the need to login. But such page has no app menu nor navigation entries, just a thumbnail of the file or a file listing. There is not good location to add external sites there. Might need to redesign the public page...
