Using Updater 0.2.7 (or 0.2.6?) to bring OC 4.5.5 to 4.5.6 I have noted that my customized .htaccess (added AddHandler php53-cgi .php - php_flag register_globals off - order deny, allow - etc.) was replaced by the standard OC .htaccess and therefore breaks my OC.
Would like to ask for not removing .htaccess by Updater - maybe standard OC .htaccess should be copied in root OC folder as ".htaccess.OCversion" to have the possibility to check for important changes.
Even better if (to synchronize with core team) the OC-part in .htaccess will be mantained
BEGIN OwnCload
...
END OwnCload
and only that part of .htaccess could be updated by Updater.
