Want more detailed information about I2C errors

Right now in the protocol we only issue a generic message when we fail an I2C transaction:

0 Hardware error accessing module 0: FPGA reported an I2C error

The SP actually has more detailed information than this from the FPGA (see register description). It would be very helpful during system debug to have more detailed information about the failures being observed (see mfg-quality#132 as an example).
