Additional benefit - 'portability' of credentials. Staff spend a significant amount of time being 'inducted' to a new trust - often repeating training they have completed within the year at a mandatory training session. Efforts to make these qualifications portable have not been successful. Portability of credentials would reduce onboarding time for staff, improve morale (wouldn't have to sit in a classroom or e learning for first week of role) therefore reduce cost of recruitment. Also allows 'split roles' across trusts without the overhead of multiple mandatory training sessions.
