Add table of median proportions of biomass in each age class #950
Comments
SRG seemed to want the numbers in their report, and Aaron did them from the out-csv files, so I'll commit to doing the table for 2024 ;) |
While I’m not opposed to this, but if people can’t take a couple of numbers and add, subtract, multiple or divide correctly to get specifics they want, then too bad. We provide all the necessary info but we can’t provide every derivative. There’s my rant for the week…On Feb 10, 2023, at 9:31 AM, Andrew Edwards ***@***.***> wrote:

Think this is still worth doing, yes? Not actually as easy as first envisaged, since need to calculate the proportion for each MCMC sample then take the median (the only calculation you do from the document is divide the median biomass-at-age by the total biomass, which is technically not the same). |
Should we close this or punt to 2025? |
How about punt to 2025, but if it doesn't come up again then we can close it. |
Basically repeat Table 19 but doing proportions for each year.
At least two people tried calculating it during the process this year and got it wrong, so we should just do it.
