Feature request: Home trainer resistance

Hello, I was looking at this project and it got me thinking if there is a way to simulate resistance. For example you have the smart home trainers that have a resistance option (I believe its also BLE) and the apps can communicate to set the resistance accordingly (20%, 30% etc) but they are expensive. Maybe with the resistance option and a servo motor the lever of the dumb trainer can be moved. Do you think its possible? Thank you for your time.
