Would it be reasonable for TagInput to support user editing of existing tags? If you have a long tag name in place and want to update only the last few characters of (e.g. say you have AAA_BBB_CCC_DDD_EEE, and you want to change EEE to FFF), then you'd have to delete the tag and might have to type quite a bit to filter down to the new tag you want.
Examples
e.g. Maybe you can double-click a tag and then:
delete that tag
have its contents automatically paste into the field for easy editing
I don't have high conviction that this is a good interaction, especially because I can't imagine a clear keyboard-only approach (would seem weird to edit on Enter, e.g.).
