Overview of SAPUI5 Geocoder Workshop

This workshop will guide you how to use geocoding location services using HERE APIs within an SAPUI5 environment. The workshop concludes with an SAPUI5 app showcasing a few features of the HERE Location Suite API Package. The following is an outline of what is covered:

Prerequisites

  • Establishing accounts with HERE and SAP

  • Basic Developer Experience

  • IMPORTANT: Completing the base SAPUI5 workshop

Discovery

  • Locating the HERE Location Suite API Package

  • Selecting the HERE Geocode API

Configuration

  • Create Geocode Destination at SAP Cloud Platform Cockpit

  • Configure Destinations in neo-app.json

Development

  • Modify View

  • Call Geocode API in Code
