The Flask Mailinglist page:
http://flask.pocoo.org/mailinglist/

mentions this page:
http://flask.pocoo.org/mailinglist/archive/
Which shows the latest email from 2012-10-29, giving the impression that the Flask community is no longer active

This page seems to be up to date:
http://librelist.com/browser/flask/

Please update http://flask.pocoo.org/mailinglist/ to reflect this change.
Thank you.

Or even better, scrap the mailing list and setup a discourse instance ;)

Meh, why. A mailing list is a pretty low-maintenance, effective way of
communication. Someone will need to host and maintain the discourse setup.

It's a pain for random users who just have a single question or want to help someone:

  1. subscribe
  2. confirm subscription
  3. post
  4. unsubscribe or keep receiving emails you might not care about
  5. repeat if you want to post something again in the future

Why not make SO the official forum for Flask problems?

As a SO mod: No!
SO is great for Q&A (I even have [flask] in my favorite tags) but for discussion-style things that sometimes happen on a mailing list SO is the wrong place.

The archive redirects to librelist now. https://github.com/pocoo/metaflask/issues/60 is related/duplicate.
