Send a FB message when you challenge someone

In order to be aware of challenges, it would be great if the application can send a FB private message to the challenged so both can agree the date and time of the match.

A FB private message is not so easy (more permissions required & still don't know how to post to the player's wall). Sending an email is easier.
Maybe too intrusive?
